Privacy and cookies

This page says, in plain words, what happens with your data when you read these guides or ask Wiggli AI a question. The short version: no cookies, page views counted without identifying you, and conversations kept so the guides can improve.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Two small things are kept in your browser’s own storage and never sent anywhere: the theme you chose, light or dark, and the answer you gave to the notice at the foot of the page.

Page views

If you press OK on the notice, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookie and stores no identifier on your device; it tells us which guides are read, not who reads them. Choose “Necessary only” and nothing is counted.

Conversations with Wiggli AI

When you ask the assistant a question, your message, the answer, the guides it used, any screenshot you attach and your thumbs up or down are kept. We read them to find the questions the guides do not answer yet, and to fix the answers that were wrong. That is how this documentation gets better, and it is why conversations are kept whichever answer you give the notice.

To answer, your question and the relevant passages of the guides are sent to the provider of the AI model that writes the reply. Please do not paste personal details about candidates or colleagues into the assistant; the guides never need them.

Conversations are stored in the European Union. Screenshots are stored privately and are only ever read to answer your question.

Your choices

OK counts page views; “Necessary only” does not. Conversations with the assistant are kept either way, because they are what the assistant runs on and what the guides are improved from. To see the notice again and change your answer:
